Admission to Master’s programmes is carried out following application and ranking based on submitted documents.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree Diploma, in accordance with Article 42, Paragraph 1, Point 1, Letter “b” of the Higher Education Act, or a “Master’s” Degree with a grade no lower than “good” and a minimum of 240 ECTS credits (original and copy).

Rolling Admission

Applications are accepted during the following admission periods:

Early Admission

Once your application has been reviewed and successfully approved, you will receive an admission notification at the email address you provided.

After receiving your admission offer, you should complete your enrolment in your chosen Master’s programme.

If you are unable to meet the enrolment deadline, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assist you.

Enrolment may be completed either by the applicant or by an authorised representative.

To complete your enrolment, please submit:

1. Enrolment document package (provided on-site);

2. Original and copy of your higher education diploma;

3. Proof of payment of the first semester tuition fee;

4. Three passport-size photographs;

5. Valid ID card or passport.

After successfully completing the application procedure, each candidate will receive a Registration Card with a unique access code for checking their ranking, either personally or via the email provided for contact.

Semester Fees for Programs taught in Bulgarian

Winter Semester

• One-time payment upon enrollment in the semester –  1200 EUR

Summer Semester

• One-time payment until 31st January – 1200 EUR

Administrative Fees

• Application fee / competitive entrance exam fee for Bulgarian and EU citizens – 30 EUR
• Academic recognition, through NACID, of a degree of higher education acquired abroad, with the aim of continuing studies at MVBU – 110 EUR

Administrative fees are not refundable in case of refusal of the student or applicant from the service.

Tuition Fee Discounts

10% Discount on the Semester Tuition Fee

A 10% discount is granted to:

• The second and each subsequent member of the same family (spouses, siblings, parents, and children), provided that a family member has graduated from IBS Bulgaria within the last five years.
• Students who pay the full annual tuition fee in a single payment.

25% Discount on the Semester Tuition Fee

A 25% discount is granted to:

• Every second family member studying at IBS Bulgaria during the same academic year.

Preferential Tuition Fees for IBS Bulgaria Bachelor’s Graduates

Graduates of IBS Bulgaria Bachelor’s degree programmes who continue their studies in a Master’s degree programme for the 2026/2027 academic year are eligible for the following preferential tuition fees:

• Early Admission (23 July – 31 July 2026): €1,000 per semester
• Admission Period (1 August – 1 November 2026): €1,100 per semester

Please note: Each student enrolled at IBS Bulgaria may benefit from only one tuition fee discount or preferential tuition offer per academic year.
